I know a lot of people don't care about the ice in their drink, but having worked in a hospital where black specks in ice mean the ice machine needs cleaning I look at the ice here & it is absolutely crystal clear! Not only does clean ice taste better in your drink, it makes it colder. My husband will not take lemon in his tea because most people don't wash theirs, but here not only are lemons washed, so are the bananas etc. They use tongs when buttering the toast too! So many restaurants have kitchens that after seeing them you wouldn't want to eat there, but we enjoy sitting at the counter occasionally just to watch the smooth operations of a well kept, organized kitchen! Armando is the manager & will correct any problem you may have, if any! We eat here at least 2-3 times a week & thoroughly enjoy all the staff along with the delicious food. And don't forget to ask what the latest flavor of coffee cake is being served at the moment... delicious no matter what flavor!
