This little stall in the Calgary Farmers' Market purveys some of the finest bao (dumplings/stuffed buns) I've ever had. Prawn, pork, chicken/mushroom/spinach, and shui mai (basically, dumplings on a skewer) are all delicious. Being a farmers' market, there are many places to choose food from, but having sampled many of them, I never go back to any place but this now. I recommend the Dim Sum Plate. They also sell a variety of their delicacies, like the handmade dumplings and noodles, to take home and cook yourself, although I've not tried it. Nor have I tried the hand-made sausage, ginger beef, and various other tasty looking items that abound - I want to some day, but first I need to some how convince myself to bypass the bao for one meal. And that won't be easy.
