Right off the bat I was extremely unimpressed with the casual atmosphere of this place. I don't know why I assumed it was more of a classy vibe, but Yelpers, feel free to go in your yoga and car wash best. For the prices of this place, I expected I "nicer" atmosphere.
Now the food: We had calamari to start and it was WAY over breaded and the sauce was ALL horseradish. I couldn't even eat it. The pesto dish was more like a butter dish with SOME basil pesto... it was literally drowning in sauce. I have high expectations on Italian food and I just don't think the food and atmosphere match the prices. Service was below average - just a bunch of kids not knowing anything about the menu.
