This review is for the hair styling services. In short: none of the 4 stylists there were able to French braid. As requested, I brought a photo of the style I wanted: loose large French braid across the top, low ponytail on the side grouping soft wavy loose curls. Very soft looking. The stylist told me that she wasn't the best at braids, but she'd make it work. She turned my chair around so that I wasn't facing the mirror while she worked. That was weird. When she finished and let me see, it was nothing like the photo. The top was a non-French, very tight, messy, small braid, pinned down. The curls were so heavily hair-sprayed, they were crunchy, fake looking ringlets. Also the ponytail was high, above the ear, and stuck straight out. It looked like a teenager from the 90s hairstyle. I asked why the braid wasn't French, she then tells me that she doesn't know how to French braid. She asks the other stylists who are working on my friends, none of them know either. I didn't even wait to leave the salon, I took apart my hair and French braided it myself, while the stylist tried to defend herself by telling me that what she has done looked nice but I was clearly the type of customer who wanted something so specific, I was better off doing it myself.
