The Mentalist- I would give it 4.5 stars.......I got some tickets off of Showtickets4locals.com. Teresa and I paid an upgrade fee to sit in the front row. We entered the theater via a narrow and dimly lit staircase . It was such a tiny theater with very little in the area of ambiance. The stage, a mere two feet away had only a few props on it. I was expecting very little.... However, while the theater was unimpressive , Gerry was amazing. The show ,while not long enough, is really something that you have to witness in order to appreciate this student of the human mind and behavior. During the show, Gerry explains how he does each of his tricks (?). Yet it is baffling how he can describe in exact detail a picture drawn on a chalk board by a random audience member solely by the sound that the chalk makes on the board. I waited with anticipation in hopes that I would be one of audience volunteers. But in spite of the fact I was not chosen, I was in awe. I would love to learn how to f**k with people's minds and plant suggestions to unsuspecting victims. ... I give the show 3 yeahs! " YEAH, YEAH, YEAH"
