I've had 2-3 vehicles in the family which have been serviced by Disount for the last 20 years. Recently, I've become pretty turned off while waiting for service and listening to the sales' pitches. Talk about used car pitches. People hear "Bridgestone Dueller" and think, wow great tire. Does the sales rep tell the person about all the different "Dueller" grades? NO I have an oversize aftermarket tire on larger wheels on an SUV. On the most recent 4 stops to check air pressure, the new employee who has to fill air is instructed to go to the door frame for manufacturer tire pressure recommendations. Too bad they don't know which tires are stock versus significantly larger. In addition, I had three reps all recommend different tire pressure ranging from 32 to 38. In addition, the reps are pushing for the new tire pitch and neglect to tell me the tires are supposed to be good for another 10K miles! These guys have lost knowledge of the basics. Too much success and their just pushing for revenue and volume.
