Ventana is definitely a nice Italian restaurant. It is very beautiful inside. Everyone that works there is very friendly. Our waiter, was knowledgeable and very funny!
We were first served warm bread, they were more like thick breadsticks. The waiter came and did the oil and vinegar. That was also very nice. Instead of the usual butter. We then got our calamari. It was a very large appetizer portion. The marinara sauce was very tasty and tasted like it was just made.
I'm not very big on pasta, but they had a nice special. It was orange roughy fish served over risotto with scallops and a crabcake. I liked everything very much except for the crabcake, it had too much filling and not enough crab.
We then finished everything off with a Tiramisu. The mascarpone cream was extra fluffy. It was very flavorful and tasted like it was house made. Overall, we had a great time!
