Please read and BEWARE: They will take your money and NEVER contact you. On May 31, I toured 1100 South with Jason and filled out an application that day. I paid the $99 deposit. Jason's computer was not working, so he said he would call me that afternoon to confirm I had reserved the apartment. I did not hear back from Jason, so I emailed him. He asked for certain paperwork. I sent the necessary paperwork the next day asking Jason to confirm he received it. That was the last I ever heard from Jason or 1100 South. On June 7, they cashed my $99 check. As of June 14, I have NOT HEARD BACK FROM 1100 SOUTH. They did not answer emails, voicemails, or pick up the phone. I called an embarrassing amount of times trying to get in touch with them. I had limited time to secure a new apartment before my prior lease ended. Since this event, I have signed a lease at another much nicer and more professional apartment. Please heed my warning and live somewhere where they do not treat you so unprofessionally and rudely. I was warned by other friends about living here and have since heard such bad reviews about management and shoddy workmanship in the apartments. If all of this happened before I even lived there, I cannot imagine the horror of being a resident. Consider yourself warned!
