So, here's the truth. If you want skilled service, my advice is to not go to this location. I think the Legacy Village salon is MUCH better.
First of all, the esthetics of this particular L&G salon is subpar. This does not compare to Legacy's beautifully kept salon. This Mentor location just looks like it was once a shack...
I got my hair cut here when I got a gift card and just thought "I love L&G, why not try the other location?" Well, I'll tell you why not. They don't know how to cut hair. They did my trim just fine, but they definitely screwed up my bangs. In fact, the stylist who was working on me, actually had a look of shock on her face and was most definitely nervous, which did not put me at ease. I don't remember her name because this was over a year ago. It was so bad that she actually had to go ask another stylist to help her not screw my hair up completely. Imagine my horror. I almost told her to stop completely because this was not making me comfortable.
So, in the end, I did not love my finished look. I don't think I was asking for anything crazy- just a standard layering and trimming of my bangs. They still managed to leave me not completely satisfied. My bangs did not look good. They looked stuck to my forehead and good bangs do not look like they've just been cut, which they did when I left.
Haven't returned since.
