As a patient receiving dedicated and excellent services at Banner Thunderbird MC on Jun 03-04, 2017, I wish to leave my review to show everyone that this hospital is definitely very efficient and a very good hospital in the Valley . I checked in ER on Sat 6/3 about 10AM for severe lower back pain. Just about an hour later after CT scan examination, an ER doctor told me I had kidney stone. Then in the afternoon a doctor came to see me and advised that they would move me to the internal medical ward for treatment. Early Sun 6/4 about 7AM a hospital urologist visited me and carefully explained to me the surgery procedure. About 8AM I was moved to an operation room(OR), then about 10:30AM I woke up with a nurse sitting near my bed and told me the operation had been smoothly done. About 6PM Sun 6/4 I was discharged from the hospital.
To all doctors, nurses and medical staff at Nursing Unit#22-3A, hereby I wish to express my deepest respect and gratitude for your kindness offered to me during my most pleasant hospitalization earlier this month.
To hospital admin&management, I have been so impressed with your patient service survey for the latest year showing 104,122 patients visited ER and 26,950 admissions (from http://health.usnews.com/best-hospitals/area/az/banner-thunderbird-medical-center-6860013). With such big numbers of patients, I believe you cannot make them 100% satisfied. However, your hospital's rating of 3 stars can be considered as a successful achievement. I wish all of you the best of luck and your Banner Thunderbird MC will regain its top AZ hospital rating in the very near future.
