I'll keep it simple. Ive enjoyed good sushi in many places, to include New York, San Francisco, LA, Hawaii, Dallas, Chicago. Now I'm trying to find a good sushi place in Charlotte. I'll have to keep looking.
Simply:
- No real Wasabi available when asked.
- Maguro Tuna was warm, and smelled old.
- Tamago was tasteless since it wasn't made by any sushi chef there.
- Miso soup was mediocre.
- Ambiance was not towards cleanliness (they had construction repairs going on during lunch)
- Didn't have Japanese sushi chefs so the attention to quality wasn't there.
- Waitress didn't know what "real" wasabi was and had to ask the sushi chef...who didn't know either. Fairly good service for dine in with an empty restaurant though.
I'll pass on this one until they up their game.
