UPDATE: After being with them for over a year, I am fleeing them as quickly as I can. They have outrageous fees and terrible membership support. I had a terrible experience with them recently where I was charged several hundred dollars in fees, and then told that they would not reverse them, even though I had attempted to contact them to address the issue well before the fees were racked up, and even though I had thousands of dollars in savings. Worst credit union in the area. I called around and found several other credit unions with no punitive fees and much better service (PSECU, Clearview, Pittsburgh Central). I gave Riverset a chance to work with me but the chose to stick by terrible policies rather than support a good member, and lose me as a customer. ______ I'd been with another credit union where I previously lived and it was awesome. This one not nearly as good: poor web design which makes interactivity difficult, few branches staffed by gruff employees and with all the visual appeal of a run-down driver's license bureau. I'm keeping them because I think they may be the best option for me but I hope they read this and upgrade their services!
