I've always liked going to foreign import food stores to look thru the aisles at the unusual packaging and colour palettes from different countries that stand out and demand my attention. Food Depot is focussed on German with some Polish influence which isn't surprising considering the location on Jutland in Etobicoke. Known around the area as an import store with good stock at great prices, Food Depot has shelves overflowing with a huge selection of sweets, chocolate, and dry goods like lentils, beans and pasta. Their coolers are fully stocked with cheese and are clean and smell beautiful! They also have a nice variety of sausage including tongue and blood sausages. The owner was very friendly and enthusiastic about the business too. Well worth the trip to get your Euro food fix.
