South Hills Village is a clean well maintained mall. Security is always present. My opinion is it's a mis ranged mall, not as upscale as some, but convenient. The large anchor stores are Target, Sears, Macy's and Dicks. The Apple store opens early and is always busy. The food court has a good selection. The play place for the little ones is kept clean, well marked with clear rules and security is present. I like the charging stations and they have come in handy for me. The malls are dying out in the area, this is one of the nicer ones for mall shopping, and early morning walking.
