So it's been weeks since its opening. Many good things from Centra, wich explains the four-star review.
No longer do I go all the way south to T&T in Richmond Hill, that is the closest one to us Aurora/ Newmarket-ers. No more extra gas for me to get cooked dishes like beef ho fun, pad thai, chow mien, springs rolls (10/$2), hot and sour soup, chicken feet, general Tao chicken, etc. Centra doesn't have a comparative selection of bakeries yet, but you know what? I am not going to say negative things about this right this moment. They are continuing to improve their store. For instance, they are adding roasted pig and duck on the cooked dishes section. Woo! It was our little complaint among my household when we, like many other patrons, bought cooked dishes during this wintry month. The lines here can be ten people wait, sometimes, that's how popular it is...well, in demand. In fact, they advertised the new edition of roasted meat in their flyers this week. Also, kimchi dishes are available now, which were not so in the beginning.
Ahh....okay, so I like Centra more and more. I'd say "needless to say" but then, other yelpers may not know how this grocery is doing. Don't we all want to eat, shop, sleep, enjoy the best among the many choices we are offered?if T&T ever comes to Aurora/Newmarket, well, I may do another review. Until then....enjoy Centra.
