We live right around the corner and wanted to give this place a try. I have a sensitivity to additives and MSG so Chinese food is always a gamble for me.
This place is great! Very clean and inviting restaurant with super friendly, helpful people. We ordered our usual at every place we try; General Tso's chicken, egg drop soup, fried rice, and a mixed seafood and meat plate. The chicken was meaty and moist and the sauces were just right. Sometimes they can be heavy but this is a great mix of spicy and savory. The egg drop was light and more like a vegetable soup with tofu. Different but delicious!
My only complaint would be that their fried rice was a bit gummy and didn't have any meat or veggies in it. No matter, we'll ask for it differently next time.
Great portion size and even left-overs heated nicely the next day.
We will return!
