This hotel was right off the highway, so quick to get to. It was also very conveniently located, considering this is the cheaper Holiday Inn Express option (compared to the one closer to downtown, I guess). We got in as it was getting dark and the front desk woman (Lori) was super friendly and helpful- she showed us where to go on a map, and offered suggestions based on her personal experiences. The room itself had a tub, which I love! We'd been traveling all day, so we rushed out to dinner and the Duquesne Incline, then back to the room so I was more than ready to soak my tired bones. The breakfast buffet was lovely, with plenty of delicious options but also plenty of healthy options- I like to keep it simple for breakfast so I always try to choose a hotel with a free/included breakfast. It was a nice touch that an employee was constantly attending and restocking things, too. I would highly recommend this hotel, and definitely stay there again if I ever return to Pittsburgh.
