I've purchased from this bakery often for about 2 years, with the butter tarts and scones being my favourite items. The scones are definitely one of the best I've tasted and possibly the best in the city.
I agree with some of the other reviews that customer service has been lackluster most of my visits. It always seemed like they were busy with kitchen tasks and found having to serve customers to be a nuisance. They'd rather be doing anything else than helping the next customer in line.
I try to support local/independent businesses like these bc it's honest hard work. The quality of the goods kept me going back but there has been times when I walked on by because I didn't feel like dealing with the attitude. Really hope this improves!
