Wow! I delayed my flight for business reasons and had to pay a significant additional cost. My trip was then cut short and I called AA 800 number and they said show up at 7AM for a 9AM flight and pay $75 for a same day flight change. The checkin agent said my flight was coded so I could not change my flight. The supervisor said the same. I called AA 800 number again and they said go to the gate, but I was too late. They said the code did not matter. I called my travel agent and they said they fixed the code. I went to AA customer service and they said I could not change because I checked a bag. I wish I stayed in bed and never called. Pretty bad when I keep getting different answers from the different members of the AA team.
