First, I am sorry to write on this site but I feel with social media being what it is, a Public Relations Manager, or a Corporate VP or someone actionable may read and result. We knew this land before a store was ever built. We were excited to see Fry's build and open. Our only real choice prior to this was Fry's at Dobson Road. Simply a longer drive at the time. For 20 years we have shopped this store on its open and basically on a weekly basis. In attempting to calculate the past 1040 weeks I suppose we have spent nearly $180,000 in this store. The math was simple $175.00 per week over 20 years. This not including when our three sons lived at home until 13 some years ago. Then the weekly shopping bill was easy $300.00 weekly. Obviously we have been very loyal to this location. Why? Because the Warner & Cooper Road Fry's employees and grocery choices have been always been there for us. While the check out time in my experience has improved recently, the store has sharply declined in merchandise availability over the past 12 - 18 months. We find that on every shopping trip there are items that are out of stock. It has ranged from bread, chips, bagged donuts, bagged salad, Folgers K-Cups, Tide, yogurt, pet needs, diapers and even hamburger. But tonight when I notified the manager on duty there was no milk (Empty) at 8 pm she sort of said "yea before he left he told me we are wiped out" Then something about the "dairy truck didn't show" She is either frustrated with her employer or the customer? Perhaps both? Maybe just me! But...No milk in a grocery store is like McDonald's without French fries. I happen to like this store and this manager very much....She has even held coffee K Cups for me when I call ahead. So every trip to Fry's now requires a second grocery trip to Wal-Mart neighborhood market. I am tired of needing to go to a second store. Please Fry's, take a serious look at this operation. I have noticed this store seems to have had a number of managers in the past year or so. Its my belief that alignment, accountability and stability needs expert review. Perhaps a focus group would benefit Fry's at least at this location. But, only if the feedback is of value. The expansion will be nice and I know the store is highly successful. But so was Hummer, WT Grant, Woolworth, Pontiac, Radio Shack and Block Buster. I enjoy my Fry's and simply want to see the Fry's of yesterday return to its accommodation of customer grocery lists. Mine is pretty basic! I still want to shop at Fry's perhaps for the next 20 years but I and maybe others need an assist on this location. I took the time to praise the past treatment as a Fry's customer and hope for a better shopping experience going forward. Otherwise, I would simply go elsewhere.
