We went to Brocach because a local girls' group was having a fundraiser there and they were giving 10% of their profits to a girls' group in Tanzania. We are eating paleo these days but I was happy to find shepherds pie on the menu and my husband had corned beef and cabbage with mashed potatoes. Our only complaint was there wasn't much cabbage in his dish. Our son had mac-n-cheese and we were pleasantly surprised that it was a small serving with equal sized sides, peas and corn and green apples. It was quite kid-friendly, noisy enough that I didn't think worry about our kids bothering anyone but not so loud that we had trouble hearing each other.
