I contacted Scott immediately after writing the post.
In truth, both Scott and his son knew I was not happy with their job before they left my home. I had spoke to Scott who promised to give treatment for my carpet for pet stains. I was honest and made sure he was well informed. He was well aware before he entered my home what he had promised me. There was no pretreatment as promised. If you cannot provide a service do not sell it to a perspective customer on the phone beforehand. I paid Scott with a check as he requested.
The finished job was unsatisfactory to say the least. I asked Scott to come back and redo my home. He refused, but did say he would refund my money, But only, if, I first removed my posted review on Yelp. Repeatedly he asked me to remove the post. After several hours of texts, I stopped the payment.
He did not refund my money.
I am not removing the posted review because it is honest and I am a dissatisfied customer. I have used carpet services numerous times over my 40 years of being a homeowner and never received such poor service.
This is my first post ever on this website. I have never written a review for any services until this encounter.
