Really Kwan's to me is somewhere between a 4 (on a good day) and a 2 (on a not so good day). The trouble is consistency... you are never quite sure what day it'll be until you have ordered your food. At times the food is very good and fresh tasting, but at other times (like last night), it tastes a bit "old" and reheated. This is especially true with their chicken and pork dishes. Nothing like the distinct flavor of microwave tasting reheated chicken in breading. I'm not saying that is what they do, but that is how it tastes to me from time to time. The people are nice and it seems to be a nice family run business, but I can't say it wouldn't be a regular stop for our family if it were any further away. If they could simply figure out how to keep the food (chicken and pork) tasting fresh and not reheated on a day to day basis, I know we would go more often.
