I have been a return customer to Comcast for less than 2 weeks. I have been repeatedly lied to, promised return calls from a customer service supervisor, over charged for installation, and given equipment that doesn't work. 1. I signed up for service on Comcast's web site, I was supposed to have my home phone ported over from Verizon, at no time during sign up did they tell me you can not disconnect your previous service on the same day as your new service is being hooked up. I have called Comcast Tech support and customer service team no less than 8 time trying to rectify this issues. I have been promised the issue will be fixed and I will receive a return call. As of 1/17/15 neither of which has happened. My home number that we had for 10+ years my now be lost forever. 2. When I signed up for Comcast service I was told that there would be a $99 install fee, I was charged over $150 for additional box charges that I was never made aware of and I did not authorize. 3. I ordered a X1 DVR cable box, the box that was installed doesn't record at all!
