We were referred to Dr. Shin for our 9 month old daughter's issues with strabismus (crossed eye). Our daughter was having a lot of issues with not wanting to roll from her stomach to back (and vice versa) because of her vision issues. Dr. Shin performed the operation in December 2015. I was very apprehensive about surgery on such a little one, but all around I have been very pleased. The results of the surgery are excellent (our daughter started rolling the next week and grabbing for more toys than she ever had) and is now on the verge of walking. Dr. Shin is a busy doctor, but with good reason. She is excellent and gives you YOUR time when she is with her patients. Many have complained about wait times, but every moment was worth it for the care my daughter received and for the excellent outcome. Her staff was helpful and very friendly, and the surgery center was the same. One of the times we were in for an appointment, I got talking with a fellow patient who informed me she drives into Las Vegas for Dr. Shin from 3 hours away. She said simply, "she's the best." I wholeheartedly agree.
