Let me begin by saying, if there was an option for zero stars, that is what this place would get. I'm an average person. Not overly picky. When I make reservations, I expect things to be ready at check-in time. So, come 10 PM (Check-in is 4PM) and the room isn't ready, I'm not going to be a happy camper. They overbooked. I'm going to say that I appreciate that they tried to find the lobby full of guests all hotel rooms, whilst a huge event was going on, but they didn't have to beat around the bush and lie.
Shuttles and hotels were prepared at, get this, nearly 5 AM. They promise it's all comped with $40 included for a meal. A free night and meal? Okay. Fine by me. This was all repeated, as a question, and the lady assured everyone that yes, it would all be free due to the inconvenience. We were all taken to a hotel down the strip. Guess what time check-out rolled around at that hotel? 11AM. But, for those on business that had meetings, check-out was much earlier. How much rest do you think we all got? Diddly squat.
Fast forward to yesterday. My bank account had a charge taken out from the hotel. Excuse me? Um, why? After a few phone calls, their response was that the other hotel cost 3x as much, so I get to pay this fee. FYI, it doesn't cost 3x more. Maybe there was an upcharge for a last minute booking, but that is not on me. I didn't overbook and leave numerous people without lodging. They refused to refund me. Such BS! For a mere two hours of sleep and all the trouble, I'm not paying that!
Word to the wise, avoid this place!
