Yesterday was quite the day. As I was driving to the super market, I saw two dogs running across a six lanes of traffic. Of course, I couldn't let this happen. I called them over and these sweet pups came running over. My window was open and I was standing on the side of the street when I was calling them. They both came over to me. The bigger one jumped right into my car and the smaller one followed. I now had two dogs in my car with no idea what to do (my small studio apartment would not accommodate). After going around to a shelter that didn't accept dogs and then calling animal control, finding out that these dogs could get euthanized, I panicked. Since it was a Sunday evening, not many places were open. Luckily, I have a friend that works with animals. She told me to go to the nearest vet. In comes Scottsdale Veterinary Clinic! Let me tell you, this place was such a help. They were able to check for chips and locate the anxious owner. They put us in a room where the pups could stretch there legs and get some extra love. Every couple of minutes they would checkup on us and tell us the status of the owner. The nurse (I think that's what they're called) was such a sweetheart. She sat on the floor with the dogs and petted them. She also explained some of the injuries that the little dog had (possibly from getting in a fight or hit by a car). I wish I could have gotten her name so I could give her the proper praise she deserves. (She helped us out on Sunday, Jan. 29th 2017 at around 6:00 pm if that helps identifying her.) The bottom line is that I would recommend Scottsdale Veterinary Clinic to EVERYONE. The people there obviously care about the animals and know a lot about how to care for them. I am so lucky to have found these dogs before they got fatally hurt and even luckier to have found this Clinic that knew exactly what to do. Please go here, I will forever sing their praises.
