If you go to whitby you must go to this shop to buy a Whitby Lucky Duck. They have been around for 50 years and are well known in the local area. The shop itself is only small and sells all different kinds of glass and ornaments, but lucky ducks are what this shop is famous for. There are 12 different colours representing the 12 months, depending on when your birthday is, depends on the colour for example my birthday is July and I have a red duck. You can watch them being made at the back of the shop and on the walls there are testimonials from people who have bought them saying what lucky things have happened to them since buying them. They only cost a couple of quid and are an ideal quirky gift.
