It had been years since I had been into a salon for my hair. I've been cutting and colouring my own hair for a long time. But, advancing age and the changes that come with it have made my hair colour issues much more complex than what I can manage on my own.
I work in the building that Edges is located in, so as it is convenient I figured I would give them a shot. I booked my first appointment, for a bang cut (to hide forehead wrinkles) and to get to know a stylist, over the phone. I wasn't completely sure that the receptionist really understood my concerns when booking me with a stylist, but as I really didn't think my hair could get any worse than it already was I had nothing to lose.
Sirak listened to, and understood, my concerns. He took the time to question me about my lifestyle and the level of effort and time I put into my hair on a daily basis. I'm very "wash and wear" when it comes to my hair, and I'm not willing to give it more than around five minutes of attention on a daily basis.
I have now had two appointments (a cut, and a colour w/highlights), and I am very pleased. Sirak has not done anything to my hair that complicates things for me, and he has resolved the age related issues I was struggling with.
I could not be more pleased.
