Well... As a student... I've come to hate purchasing school books. It's a market I don't understand... A semester worth of books can cost as much as a four credit class at UNLV... A tad bit ridiculous when half of the teachers don't even use them... Except for "reference" to power points. I've recently discovered BEAT and I can honestly say... They are my favorite book store to purchase and rent from now. UNLV wanted 101$ for my rental for summer. Rebel books wanted 76$. Beat only wanted 62$. For a four week 4 credit class... I can honestly say... 225$ new 167$ used... Or a 100$ rental totally killed whatever excitement I had for summer school... And my recent rental from beat helped reignite my flare. I am hoping they carry some of my books for next semester. If you haven't checked them out... I really recommend doing so.
