I used to go there as a kid and now when we go back to
visit I take my kids. They love to spend hours in the
water and playing in the sand.
The beach is pretty active. Apparently we had just missed
a volleyball tournament, but we did see nets being set up in
the evenings.
The rest of the park is well kept as well.
The only thing I don't like is the new snack concession operator
that took over in March. They took out the soft-serve ice cream
machine and now only sell a few snacks and frozen treats.
This was a big disappointment for the kids. The old operator
offered a variet of flavors and sizes of cones that the kids loved.
So, the park gets 5, but the snack operator gets 1.
