I recently dined at the River's Edge Bar and Grill on a warm fall Saturday. Despite being overwhelmingly busy, we were seated within the 30 min. time frame as promised. Our waitress, however, was annoyed by any request we made. By request, I mean, asking for silverware or refills on our empty drinks. When she initially took our drink orders she turned to walk away after my friend ordered her drinks and when I stopped her and said, " I'd like to order a drink as well.", she acted as if this was a huge inconvenience and didn't even acknowledge that she didn't take my order. .. Moving on, I got the Mojo Quesadilla and an order of Sweet Potato Fries. The fries were good but definitely from the freezer. The Quesadilla on the other hand,......disgusting! Amidst, lobs and lobs of curdled, fried Cheddar there were about 3 small nickel sized pieces of chicken. Keep in mind, this was after sifting through 5 pieces "triangles" if you will, of the Quesadilla. I should have refused to pay for the meal as I did not receive a chicken Quesadilla but rather a fried cheese patty. We were so disappointed that we just paid our bill and left. Next time, we won't even bother with the restaurant. For what it's worth, the walk in "deli/café" next door looked more promising.
