My gf called from California to arrange a delivery of offbeat flowers, sticks, tillandsia, no roses, etc. for my birthday. Something original, untraditional -- with items included that would live on past the rest of the arrangement. She was very happy with the service she received, and she felt understood but the bouquet (tho expensive), had roses and 2 tiny tillandsia on their last legs. No sticks, nothing offbeat as discussed. It's a very pretty, feminine arrangement of pinks and lilac shades, but that's not what she wanted for me. I feel badly that she spent $100 and that the air plants don't look like they'll make it after the rest of the flowers die. Pretty, with great presentation, but not what she had asked for. The delivery guy also took my flowers to the wrong unit, even though it was clearly written on the arrangement. Thankfully, I received them. They got the card right, which was great.
