My wife and I have played over 20 escape rooms, and on the weekend that we went to Dare to Escape, we played 5 in the city of Phoenix. Of ALL the games we have played, the Cult of Mithras was absolutely the best escape game experience we have ever had. It hit all the right marks: Fair but challenging puzzles, an amazing and friendly staff, hints that were provided exactly when you needed them - not too soon, not too late. The room looked and felt amazing. The puzzles were extremely original. The location was in a new complex next to some real estate offices, not in some ghetto like some locations we've visited. And, when I accidentally double-booked the room, the staff credited our card before we even had a chance to follow-up with them about it! We just cannot say enough good things about this place. It was THE shining-star highlight of our escape game weekend.
