We arrived for a dinner reservation and were seated promptly. The decor is such a beautiful surprise as compared to the generally uninspiring exterior strip-mall architecture. Cool tables and chairs, great seating at the bar, even great lighting, and very very friendly staff.
Food - we ordered 5 small plates and it was a lot for 2 people, maybe a little too much, but worth it! Lobster mac and cheese is absolutely essential. We loved everything... gnocchi, brussel sprouts, shrimp and chorizo, meatballs, all were cooked perfectly, and food came out relatively quickly. As we watched other tables receive their food, we had a little order envy because every dish really did look amazing.
I am only disappointed that we waited so long to visit this fun, unique, unpretentious restaurant. It is an excellent dining experience, and a terrific addition to the Elizabeth / Midwood rotation.
