Hardware and home improvement stores are not my thing, you can usually find me sitting on a riding lawn mower reading magazines or sitting in the car. Billy had to run into Blackhawk for something quick, I sat in the car. One minute later, my phone rings, "you're going to want to come in."
When you walk in, it seems like an old school five and dime. They have all your basic needs for gardening or hardware, but then there's so much more, cooking implements, cookie jars, aprons, tea pots and gadgets you simply can't live without.
Their employees are available to say hello or help you find what you are looking for. Don't forget to help yourself to the fresh popcorn at the front door. It's a little bit like walking back in time, in a good way.
