This review is in regard to Dr. Sepulveda Horrible experience here, my husband went in with a head cold, sore throat and non-stop coughing (trickle in the throat) that kept him and I up all night for over a week. The Dr. he saw treated him for a sinus infection and prescribed an antibiotic. After 3 days on the antibiotic and not feeling any better, coughing as much or more AND diarrhea, my husband called the office and requested a different antibiotic. He spoke to a nurse who relayed a message from the Dr. of "take Pepto Bismol". What the heck?! There are many antibiotics out there, why would you hesitate prescribing another that may not have these side effects and may have the patient feeling better, but instead say, let's bandaid the diarrhea with another OTC medicine?? What a lazy, answer - I was furious! Today my husband is back in the same facility (a week later), feeling & sounding worse than he did a week ago. His mucus is no longer clear. He has not slept much in at least two nights because of the cough. There is one other person in the waiting room with him, same symptoms, same story (been there a week ago and is no better, actually worse). This time he got 3 prescriptions, a different anitbiotic, a steroid and cough medicine (which you would've thought should've been prescribed initially). This Dr. is a waste of time and should be removed for his lack of care and laziness. He has an arrogant, uncaring demeanor and no bedside manner AT ALL. For lack of a better word, he's an ass. People don't go to the Dr. because they are bored and want to hang out, they are miserable and need your help. They don't want to come back in a week, they don't want to run to the toilet because of something you prescribed or take OTC medicines that don't work. If you're not in the mindset of helping patients feel better, then find another profession!
