There is nothing less helpful than Greyhounds website. The actual kiosk, much better. Depending on where you're going, they are either significantly cheaper than any other option, or a complete ripoff.
When the price fits though, they are reliable, comfy, although very rarely speedy.
I'll be curious to see how competitors like mega bus and via rail affect greyhounds service over the next few years.
