The Carnegie Delicatessen & Restaurant is an overpriced place to eat located on the main floor of the Mirage hotel. As I was coming home from a night out on the strip, I decided to grab a late night snack to take back up to my room. I went with a pastrami sandwich on rye, which turned out to be a vacation changing mistake. The sandwich came with a lot of meat and tasted okay, but it was definitely not worth the hefty price. A few hours after eating the sandwich I was extremely sick, and remained sick for almost two days strait. I was hardly able to eat anything during my remaining time in Las Vegas, and my sickness made it difficult for me to enjoy the final day of my vacation. I will not be easting at the Carnegie Delicatessen & Restaurant again, and will look for better food at a more reasonable price the next time that I am in Las Vegas.
