As a journalist & consumer advocate for 31 years, I'm here to report recent findings about doctors in the Vegas valley. I believe Vegas has a shortage of General Practitioners (a/k/a GP or Family Doctors). My GP of past 15 years recently joined a VIP group, which means I must pay $1600 a year membership (in addition to my medical insurance) if I want to see him again. Thus, I searched for a new GP. I feel very lucky to have found Dr. Sameera Sbaih for several reasons: I was able to get an appointment to see Dr. Sbaih within 2 days. She listened to me, quickly diagnosed tendinitis and prescribed 3 forms of treatment that has stopped my pain. During the visit to my prior GP, he did NONE of these things for me. I'm hoping Dr. Sbaih will be my doctor for many years to come.
