Best cornbread I have ever had. A little out of the way for someone that doesn't live or work in uptown, but trust me, it's worth the trip for the cornbread alone. I got the creole which was pretty good and authentic. Big portions that I barely even made a dent into. Honestly though, I couldn't stop thinking about the cornbread throughout the meal. The interior is somewhat basic. It's a casual mom and pop atmosphere and you almost forget that your just steps outside of a bustling downtown area. After a great first experience with the creole, I'm excited to return and try the fried chicken "meat and three," which is what they seem to really be famous for. Did I mention I loved the cornbread?
