The first visit was amazing. Last night. . . not so much.
I ordered the BBQ octopus again, and this was as tough and dry as my first try was moist and tender. Such as disappointment.
I also ordered the sweetbreads. Sweetbreads can be amazing, or, they can over fried to the point they become flavorless. I will let you guess which I was served.
My dinner partner order tuna crudo. The tuna was beautiful, but was floating in some serious liquid and oil. The server talked about how delicious this liquid would be and don't we want to dip the bread in it? Between the liquid and the spicy sauce on it, the taste of the beautiful tuna was completely masked and the liquid was not a savory delight...
I can't believe what a completely different experience we had. I don't think I'll be back.
