My review is for the LOUNGE/CLUB area only.
The stars must've been aligned on the particular night that our group of 15 wanted to go out and about somewhere near by and for cheap...a handful of us were walking through the adjoining Mandalay Bay casino to meet up with other friends who were staying at one of the penthouse suites at THE Hotel. Along the way a few well dressed young looking guys gave us passes to Mix telling us guys would get in for free. We met up with everyone in the suite, got our drank on, and headed back down to the Mix. Sure enough not only were the gals free, but the guys were too. We then took an elevator ride back up to Mix...
-the dance floor is relatively small
-good mix of music to make you get up and dance
-plenty of seating so it can be more of a lounge than an actual club
-bartenders were heavy handed with the liquor (while I had a fun time that night, the following morning wasn't so fun).
The best part of the night was that everyone had a good time without having to pay a cover which meant extra cash for the strong dranks :)
