This place has everything.
When i moved into my apartment last year i'd come here for all kinds of things around the house from hooks and nails to paint and rollers. Then around Christmas time I came here to get new lights for my tree. Now with Spring around the corner, i found myself back at this Canadian Tire to get some doodads for bicycle season!
There are escalators and elevators up to the second floor, which is where 90% of the store is (below is a small Starbucks and Mark's Work Warehouse, as well as covered parking). It's super spacious and tidy. I've always found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. In fact, just this past weekend i noticed a sign on the window saying "We are a dog friendly store" and it's true! I needed a bell for my bike and the bf needed an alternator. We took the dog with us and she wasn't the only dog in the store either. Love it. Way better then one of us waiting outside with the dog while the other one shops alone. I found a sweet bell and lights, the dog got a cookie from the friendly sales guy, and my bf found his way to the automotive section. FYI, there's a small automotive section in the back right corner, but parts and service is down an elevator to a separate little section of the store. The front white light I bought ended up being a dud and it was no problem at all to exchange it.
