It's sad when the best part about the food is the cheap price point. Portion wise, you get a lot of food for the amount you pay- definitely more worth it than Basil Box next door but I have my qualms about their food too.
However, there was nothing great about the taste of my meal. I had a chicken shawarma plate and everything was bland, nothing stood out and the chicken was dry. The rice was also pretty hard as well as the potatoes. The sauces were okay, but more on the bland side and was not enough to eat with the meal. I got both tahini and hummus and neither sauce could redeem the dish.
Maybe I'm just used to complex flavour pairings of middle eastern food from mississauga. Would not recommend this place or try it again.
