I've been here twice now, once for a business lunch and later for dinner with a friend. Both visits were superb. First, I really like the relaxed atmosphere and modern design that greets you upon arrival. Attractive indoor-outdoor bar seating lines the front of the restaurant and when you enter, you see an open kitchen with fresh breads on display. Upstairs and downstairs seating are both cool. For lunch, the Arizona Grain Salad was delicious and a perfect meal during the work day. Wheat berry, purple barley, cucumbers, mixed greens, walnuts and a citrus vinaigrette covered this amazing dish. On my next visit, I ordered the Pork Chop which was a dinner specialty. Wow! It was incredibly moist, flavorful and full of crushed chestnuts, bacon, cabbage, sauerkraut and whole grain mustard jus. Desserts are also really well done. St. Francis is indeed one of my favorite places to dine in Phoenix. It spruces up Camelback Road and it's versatility makes it the perfect place for business, meeting friends, after work specialty cocktails or just a romantic evening.
