This is my favorite place to get a 'spa' massage now. I generally mix where I get massages for affordability, but when I splurge I'm never disappointed with Hammam. I have never had a Turkish bath there - I hear it's not exactly authentic, but the included steam room is still relaxing enough and the amenities are really nice and peaceful here. I've been to the Elmwood spa many times (downtown) and while it's bigger and has a pool, it's a little outdated and some of the spa services are just ok. Hammam is smaller, but it's never been crowded when I've gone. I had an amazing massage the other day, normally I go for longer ones, but I only had 45 minute one from Toby. He really took the challenge to make my time worthwhile and was absolutely amazing. One of the best massages I've ever had and I will definitely be requesting him next time. He had strong hands, and a great technique, constantly moving my muscles and lengthening them to get rid of stiffness. I can't wait to go back :)
