I met a local friend here for drinks and appetizers before a concert, mostly due to the restaurant's location and loads of free parking. He tried to warn me that the food wasn't that good, and he was right. The drinks weren't even that good either. The atmosphere is like a chain restaurant dining hall. Service was terrible. It's the kind of place where you had to stand up in your chair and flail your arms about just to get your check. We probably could've walked out and nobody would've noticed. The Phoenix area is jam packed with authentic and delicious Mexican restaurants. This isn't one of them.
