Went here yesterday at the beginning of a big event in downtown Glendale (75,000+ people). The wait was ridiculous - it took 20 to 25 minutes to get a cup of coffee! During this wait, the staff seemed totally oblivious (or unconcerned) - taking their sweet time, chatting with people, etc. Now, I'm sure during normal times, the warm, friendly environment is appealing to a lot of folks. I get that. But, when there is a huge event and a line of people, it's time to pick it up a notch and / or staff appropriately! This was at the very beginning of the event too - I can't imagine what it was like later when there were thousands of people swarming around. Equally important to my review was the coffee. It was just not good! Very watery and no distinct flavor. My friend ordered the same thing (Red Eye). We are by no means coffee snobs but this stuff was worse than I can get at the corner deli. To be fair, my other friend ordered a Chai Tea. He said it was the best he ever had and a few others tasted it and agreed. So, they did get something right!
