Absolutely the best Thai food this side of the Pacific. The Chef won James Beard awards and Wine Spectator Awards years in a row for good reason. I personally do not understand how this place can get any reviews below 5 stars, it is that good. And no, I do not know the owner or the workers there.
Beware that the spiciness level is in Thai scale out of 10. Perhaps due to my Asian heritage, I like my food hot. So when I tried to order something at 8/10, the waiter looked at me like I had flowers growing out of my head. We ended up ordering 7/10 and still it was HOT.
The only drawback is the location. It seems like there's always a panhandler ready to confront you at the parking lot.
Overall my go to place to take out of towners.
